Install Android 4.3 Jelly Bean CM10.2 Nightly ROM on Asus Transformer Pad Infinity

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity is the tablet we deemed worthy of an upgrade tutorial to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean CM10.2 Nightly ROM.
The performance of your gadget is going to flourish if you update it.

Requirements

To make the process happen faster, we give you these pre-requisites and, after them, the steps towards a successful update:
•    get Google Apps (gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip) and the CM10.2 Nightly ROM (cm-10.2-20130901-NIGHTLY-tf700t.zip) on the notebook
•    turn on USB Debugging
•    use the tablet which is bootloader + carrier unlocked
•    charge its battery
•    make a normal backup and also a NANDroid one for urgent cases.

How to flash CyanogenMod 10.2 on your tablet

  1. The very first action which qualifies as step one in our countdown towards the upgrade: plug the tablet to your laptop.
  2. After that, dump the two zip files to the gadget's SD card root and let them unzipped. Unplug the devices, power the Transformer Pad Infinity off and, next up, do this to boot it into Safestrap Recovery: press Power, wait for the tablet to display a Safestrap screen with the "Recovery" option at the bottom; then click on that option and that's it.
  3. Now that the tablet is booted into the Safestrap Recovery, you should proceed to the wiping if its system.
  4. This has to be done by choosing "Wipe Data/Factory Reset", confirming this task, going to the Recovery Menu, opting for "Wipe Cache Partition" and then choosing "Wipe dalvik cache". Have patience for a bit and, after all of the tablet's system is erased, you can choose "Install zip from SD card" and "Choose zip from SD card".
  5. After you have selected those two options, it's high time you did the following: choose the cm-10.2-20130901-NIGHTLY-tf700t.zip with the help of "Power". This needs a confirmation from you, so do it. Like that, the update firmware will be flashed on your device very soon.
  6. Now that the tablet already has one of the upgrade tools, it must have the other one, too. So install the Google Apps zip file by taking the same actions that you performed for the flashing of the CM10.2 Nightly ROM.
  7. After both of the zip files are on the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity, do as follows: return to the tablet's Recovery Menu. Spot the restarting option and choose it.
  8. The gadget will then boot into the appropriate firmware for the update process. If all goes without a fault, your device shall soon see the Android 4.3 CM10.2 Nightly firmware in its "About tablet" spot (accessible from "Settings").
When you are put in front of a boot loop (or more), we will ask you to select these options and then restart the tablet: "Wipe Cache Partition" and "Wipe dalvik cache". The screen of your tablet may give you this message: "Status 7 error". If that should happen, you should follow this route: flash an appropriate kernel on the tablet, then flash the CM10.2 Nightly ROM on it.

Your Transformer Pad Infinity is able to experience, again, its former ROM. To gain access to the latter, you have to do this: restart your gadget into the Recovery, opt for "Backup & Restore", choose your old tool from a list and wait for it to appear, again, on the device.
